The inflammation or infection in the prostate gland is usually termed as "prostatitis". Prostate infection symptoms are usually found in men who are above 50 years old. In fact, there are four types of prostate infection prostatitis.

Here is the list of common symptoms:
•Increased body temperature
•Painful sensation in the genitals

•Frequent urination
•Burning sensation in urination
•Problems in bowel movement

3. Chronic bacterial prostatitis. This is a rare medical condition. The infection or inflammation is recurrent, which in turn reveals problems in the prostate. The urinary bladder could also be affected as the disease progresses. Antibiotics are the given to the patients. Also, as supplemental medications like non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are prescribed. Here are some of the manifestations that the patient may experience:
•Urge to urinate
•Painful Sensation upon urinating
•Pain at the lower back
•Testicular pain
•Pain in the joints and muscles

4. Prostatodynia. This condition is also called as "chronic pelvic pain syndrome". This condition does not have any presence of bacteria in the prostate and urinary tract. Antibiotics are mostly ordered, yet it cannot offer a hundred percent cure for  the condition. Know the indications of this condition below:
•Impotence
•Presence of blood in urine or in semen
•Pelvic pain
•Painful ejaculation
•Urinary urgency
•Hyperthermia
•Painful sensation at the lower back

In case one experiences any of the prostrate infection symptoms listed above, it is recommended to seek medical advice at once.  Early phases of the disease process are more curable compared to the latent phases, so seek doctor's help right away.
