Utilizing A Cranberry Juice Detox Diet

For those who are concerned about having a build up of toxins and fats in their bodies, a cranberry juice detox diet or a cranberry juice fat flush diet can be used to clean out the body's systems. The cranberry juice detox diet is also sometimes used by people who smoke marijuana to clean out their bodies of the after affects of smoking that drug so that they can pass a mandatory drug test at a job. These cleansing properties have not been proven to work, so the best answer for those who are concerned about passing a drug test is to stop doing the drugs. However, if a person wants to use a cranberry juice detox diet, it is recommended that they leave at least three days before the test to detox, during which time the person cannot smoke any more marijuana.

Tip: Use very tightly sealed zipper plastic bags for keeping any dark and leafy vegetables you want fresh for juicing later. Before you put them into the bags, wash them thoroughly and dry them off with a towel.

Other people use the cranberry juice detox diet for other reasons, such as to clean out the lymphatic system and the kidneys. Often there is a build up of toxins in the body that can remain in these systems and organs, causing problems in the person's health. By using a cranberry juice detox diet periodically, these systems are cleaned out and the person feels better in their health. Since the cranberry juice detox diet also loosens fats that are stubbornly hanging on in the lymphatic system, it is also used as a fat flush so that the body is rid of those excess fats.

The cranberry juice detox diet starts with a glass of an elixir that is composed of pure cranberry juice, purified water and some sort of a green powder such as wheatgrass. One cup of water is mixed with about two tablespoons of cranberry juice and one teaspoon of the green powder. These are mixed together and consumed first thing in the morning so that the body can more readily absorb the nutritive properties of the elixir. During the day, the person is often encouraged to mix the water consumption with about the same proportions of cranberry juice to water so that the body is constantly being flushed out and also reinvigorated by the nutrients of the cranberries. The pure cranberry juice can often be difficult to find, since the cranberry juice often found in grocery stores is a mixture of different juices, the main of which is cranberry. Organic and health food stores are likely to carry both this and the green powder so that everything is found in one place.
