Knowhow-Now Article

The largest water amusement park in Central California, Wild Water Adventure Park was voted as the Valley’s best water park for the past twelve years. It is located on a 52 acre country setting in Clovis, California, near Fresno at the foot of the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains. Visitors have said, “This is the best water park that I’ve been to!” and “This is a great place to hose off your children!” Take it from the people who have been to this park and come to Wild Water Adventure Park this summer.

This water park has amusements to keep the entire family entertained. From all of the exciting water slides and wave pools, an area just for the little children called Adventure Bay, Cabanas with cocktails for the adults and even fishing lakes for Grand Parents, Wild Water Adventure Park will be sure to keep everyone more than satisfied.

The main attractions of the park are the awesome water rides and slides. The most popular is “King River Waterworks”. These are the four original thrilling mat slides that made the park famous. Next is the “Sidewinder” for extreme thrill seekers. It has a three-story drop down a huge half-pipe shaped slide. “The Black Hole” is the ultimate speed ride for those who truly want a rush. It’s called the “Black Hole” because of its dark enclosed tube. The list goes on with many more enticing rides including the “The Rapids & Thunder Falls”, “Vortex & Vertigo” and “Banzai Pipeline & Rampage”.

For those who would prefer not to go on rides and would rather just enjoy a relaxing day, there are cabana rentals and also fishing by the lake. While the kids are off running around parents can be lounging with cocktails served by the Wild Water Adventure Park staff. Some of the cabanas are conveniently located directly in front of Adventure Bay which is an area designated for very young children. So, if you need to keep a close eye on your little one, you can still do so by relaxing in a lounge chair.

The Park also has three lakes which are filed with Bass, Catfish, Bluegill and Crappie fish. The fish are provided by the State of California Department of Fish. No fishing license necessary, all you need is a paid admission to enjoy.

If you plan on traveling to visit Wild Water Adventure Park, there are many places to stay that are close by for affordable prices. There’s no excuse to not come to the park, all you need to do is pick a date and round up the troops.
