Tip: You can reduce your hair loss by changing the routine you follow after showering. After washing your hair, don't roughly rub with a towel, but be as gentle as you can.

One other tip that you should consider is using a product called minoxidil. It is also sold under the name Rogaine and is designed specifically to stop male pattern baldness on the back of your head. If you are able to do this, especially before it gets too bad, you can actually reverse the balding and have your hair return back to normal. Remember, this is only for the back of your head, not the front area.

In the end, the only thing you can do is hope that your hair loss is the result of some medication or stressful situation that is causing the fallout. If you're dealing with a genetic problem, male pattern baldness, then there is no cure for this particular type of condition.
