Knowhow-Now Article

Hey guys, what's up? I'm writing this article because I was thinking about how privileged I have been in my life. I am so incredibly privileged and honored to be able to share the things that I have learned and continue to learn with you guys. And it is an all-out joy! And that's from the bottom of my heart. There is no greater thing in business than to help someone who needs help and wants that help.  And when I get comments and feedback of gratitude, it gives me more encouragement to keep doing what I do.

So, what's the lesson in all of this?  The lesson is that if you want to have a continuous, long-term business, one thing that is super-important is that you have to LOVE WHAT YOU DO!  You have to be absolutely excited about going to "work" the next day.  Loving what you do helps you to get past the hard times that will inevitably come in working a business.  And on top of that,  loving what you do pushes and inspires you to DO YOUR BEST for your clients.

In my case, I got into this business because I know that there are so many people like myself and my family that were in Network Marketing, but just did not know exactly what to do to get results.  My heart goes out to people who go from company to company trying to make things happen;  spending and wasting money on useless and over-priced leads,  business cards, fliers, brochures, events, "trainings", etc; only to spend themselves out of business, thinking that success is in these tools!

But, guys, I'm trying my hardest to help you all to understand that success doesn't come from these tools, it comes from knowledge!  You HAVE TO know how to market. Then once you know how to market, then you'll be able to understand what tools will or will not work for you. But, I guarantee you,  once you learn how to market and apply what you learn, things WILL happen, and you WILL have a system in place in a relatively short amount of time that allows you to make money at the drop of a hat....

Ok, I'm off my rant. Sorry about that. But, I want the best for you guys.

But, back to the main subject of this article: doing what you love.  If you don't particularly like the products or services that you offer; or if you think they're just 'OK', then it's my suggestion that you change companies.  Because if you don't like what you do, how can you inspire anyone to buy what you've got?  They say that sales is just a transfer of confidence from you to your prospect.  So, if that's true, if you don't have confidence in what you sell, how much do you really expect to sell?

Another reason that you have to love what you do is because if you don't, what one thing do you think your focus will be on?  Wouldn't it be money?  And once you focus on money only, I'm telling you. your business will fail sooner or later - I can almost guarantee it.  Because if you remember:  we spoke before about what it really means to be a marketer. It means giving people what they want, and solving their problems with your products or services. It means understanding the rule that nobody wants to be sold, but everybody loves to buy.   So, if you always have dollar signs in front of your eyes, then, let me ask you: are you really only thinking about your prospect's interests, or are you thinking about your own?

So, when you think about your prospects needs, and they perceive that you actually care, then you will have more success than you ever would by thinking about yourself.  If you look at any successful company out there, you'll see that they all have mission statements. In other words, they have in writing what they want to accomplish FOR THEIR CLIENT. You'll notice that no successful company's mission statement says " We are in business to make as much money as possible and to rule the world!", or anything like that. Rather, it always has a noble purpose behind it - " To help everyone suffering from joint pain, to live pain free again", or " To help the world feel safer, one client at a time" , or something of that nature.

So, what's your mission statement? What's your motto? What is the reason (not related to money) that you are in business? If you're having a hard time figuring that out, you might want to look for a company whose products and services you can be passionate about.

If you do so, it will help you to have a long-term, successful business. And you will have happy, satisfied customers that will want to stick around for the long-haul.
