Get an accurate appraisal of your time by keeping a diary of your activities for a week. Monitor your activities for a few days to learn how long you take to do different things. Afterward, review the diary and see what changes you need to make to your daily schedule.

Make your schedule by listing important things first. This will help organize your day. Think about what the most important things are that you must complete during the day. These tasks should be placed first on your schedule. Then, you can work your way down to what is least important.

For wise time management, try to determine the amount of effort necessary for each task. It may be a waste of your time to do an unimportant task to perfection.
