If you are working in a laboratory, it is best to dispose items that are populated with potentially harmful bacteria in a trash container.

* Level Two: In this level, we have more severe forms of bacteria and viruses. Both of these have the potential to have a longer effect on human health. Once infected, a person will be unable to go about his daily routine for the next couple of days. Measles, influenza and salmonella poisoning are all examples of bacterial and viral infections. Those who are working in situations which pose as such hazards should exercise a lot of care. Wearing and making use of eye, hand and body protection is extremely important for such workers.

* Level Three: This level includes those species and strains of viruses that are more hazardous than those in the previous level. Such viruses cause diseases like typhus and malaria. If these diseases are not treated correctly or left untreated altogether, they can be fatal. People working with such bio-hazards should be properly trained. It should be made mandatory for such workers to wear full body suits. Also, eye protection, gloves and masks should be made use of at all times.

* Level Four: These bio-hazards are the most severe and life threatening. They have no known treatments and are often fatal. This category includes Ebola virus and the dengue fever. People working in the vicinity of such hazards should take a lot of care. These workers must wear an airtight Hazmat suit at all times. Also, it must be made mandatory for them to carry an independent oxygen supply.

These are four of the most deadly biohazards that are found. However, taking the necessary precautions can help you avoid getting any of the above diseases.
