“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” —I Corinthians 13:4-8a (NIV)

Love is one of the most intriguing, mystical and vibrant emotions ever experienced by the human race. Nevertheless it is also the most complex emotion, yet to be fully understood or defined. Ask anyone what love is? And the most common answer you could come across is that, it is a feeling which cannot be completely defined!

Strange but true, that an emotion which in the history of mankind has changed destinies and shaped the life of millions, would still be in a state to be fully understood or comprehended.

Love basically acts as a metaphor for the 'Feel-good-factor- in a human! It instills confidence, makes him disciplined and more importantly makes him a responsible person. Humans are attracted to a person of the opposite sex, physically first. Physical appearance does matter a lot but not to an extent where in, it would persuade or dissuade an individual to get into a relationship.

For example: A person who might be attracted to a person of the opposite sex physically, could unceremoniously change his opinion towards the negative scale once he gets to know that the emotional quotient and the intelligence of the person in question falls far below his expectations. Hence love is a unique combination of the physical and the intellectual factors depending on the wants and needs of an individual.

True love is a term often used by individuals who are euphoric over an existing relationship or by individuals who have had a love relationship ended unceremoniously. Humans are social animals and our desires and wants for 'That perfect companion or partner' is often governed by our sub-conscious mind. It has been scientifically proven that men look out for the qualities of their mother and women that of their father, when searching for their partners. No love is complete without frustration and compromises. This is because any relationship is it love or anything else, is often depended on the level of acceptance of the short comings of the two individuals in question. It is often said that 'best of lovers must part'- but this just a desperate attempt by the human race to console one's own self amidst the chaos inflicted upon by a broken relationship as and when it occurs. Love is not difficult to find at all. In fact it is anywhere and everywhere. One should have the patience, perseverance and more importantly an eye to judge and make the right choice, because frequently people think that they found true love and in the end they understand that it was not love but it was only sexual desire .

So, true love really exists, but unfortunately it can disappear very easy.
