A Quick Guide On Hair Loss

Have you been losing your hair a lot lately? It is time to take action and make a few changes to your lifestyle to slow down your hair loss.

Start by finding out what is causing your hair loss. Age is a common factor but stress, illness and a bad diet can make your hair loss worst. And in some cases, wearing a hat or a cap constantly can cause your hair to fall off. You should schedule an appointment with your doctor to talk about your hair loss and make sure it is not caused by another medical condition that requires attention. And stop wearing hats unless you need to protect your head from the sun.

Tip: Use baby shampoo to wash your hair. This is gentle on your hair and doesn't have many chemicals that can cause harm to your hair.

Make some positive changes to your lifestyle. You can slow down hair loss by eliminating the toxins stored in your body. Exercising regularly and go to a sauna once in a while to sweat. You should also quit smoking and stop drinking alcohol or caffeine since these things raise your toxin levels. As toxins leave your body, you might feel more stressed than usual but once the toxins are gone, you will find that managing your stress is easier. You should also try adopting a healthier diet so that your hair gets the vitamins it needs. Eat more fruits and vegetables and take a multivitamin supplement if you need to.

Take good care of your hair. You should wash it and brush it regularly. Choose a quality shampoo and ask your doctor for a recommendation if you want to use a shampoo that will strengthen your hair and slow down your hair loss. Washing your hair with a raw egg is an excellent way to make it stronger since eggs contain a lot of proteins. Avoid using hair products such as sprays, gels or coloring kits. The chemicals from these products can damage your hair.

Tip: Infra-red and UV light treatments are new hair loss treatments. These treatments do not work for every body.

Do not spend your money on any hair loss treatments before talking to your doctor. There are a lot of products or treatments widely advertised on TV and in magazines that are actually inefficient. There is no way to get your hair to grow back once it falls: the only thing you can do is get some hair follicles implanted into your scalp if you absolutely want to get your hair back. Before you purchase a product or a treatment, you should talk to your doctor and do more research about the product or the technique.

Do not let your hair loss make you feel bad about yourself. You can improve your looks by entirely shaving your head or choosing to conceal your hair loss by wearing a hair piece. And forget the bad jokes about hair pieces: if you can afford to purchase a good one that is custom-made, no one will notice you are wearing a hair piece. Try different options and keep in mind that you are not the only person with a hair loss problem.

Hair loss is a common problem but not a lot of people want to talk about it openly. You should try different techniques and not hesitate to share your best tips with your friends.
