Instead of quick weight loss, consider losing 1 to 2 pounds every week while promoting weight lifting to enhance lean muscle mass. This will minimize the problem of sagging or loose skin.

Attempt to exfoliate the skin every few days to remove dead cells and improve blood flow circulation and all layers of the skin. Consider taking a hot bath with minerals and sea salts to improve the tone of the skin, and use herbal formulas and tightening creams that contain aloe vera, soy protein and yeast extract, along with vitamins A, C & E, essential to the formation of collagen and elastin.

As a last resort, surgery can be more effective for eliminating loose skin after weight loss than all the remedies above. Typically, age is the only factor that cannot be controlled with losing elasticity and plumpness in the skin. Staying out of the sun, keeping hydrated, and consuming a proper diet can make a dramatic impact on the quality and tone of the skin.
