The Real Estates Agents Regional Councils (CREI) usually determines the commissions charged by local realtors in any region. Standard rates are normally a percentage of the sale or rental value for the piece of land. The whole procedure to purchase and register land or property in Brazil takes about fifty days to complete. Remember to factor in the cost of the trips, lawyers, notaries, registration, realtors and tax agencies for any Brazil land investments.
