The homegrown automaker Tata Motors launched Tata Manza on 14th October, 2009 in order to cater the mid size sedan enthusiasts of the county. The three box car has got great response from the Indian buyers and even now after around two and a half years the car continues to be sold at a decent pace. Showcasing somewhat familiar face, the front portion of Manza is dipped in chrome with chromed radiator grill and fog lamps outlined by the chrome. The dynamic looks of the car are accentuated by the powerful three barreled headlamps and large front and rear overhangs.

Artistically designed on the Indica platform, Manza has improvised a lot in terms of looks and interior space which has added a distinct character to the scintillating sedan. With wheelbase of 2520 mm and ground clearance of 165 mm, Tata Manza is just the perfect car for the Indian roads. In the interior as well, Tata engineers has done well to use the available space to the fullest. Tata Manza is one of the most spacious sedans in its segment besides offering comfortable seating and pleasing interiors. Overall styling is very impressive with the two tone beige interior nicely blending with the fabric upholstery.

Everything in Manza cabin is spot on right from the chunky dashboard to the instrument cluster to the big trunk space. Audio controls mounted on the power steering, front and rear cabin lights, vanity mirror and passenger sunvisor with light are some of the interior features pushing the Tata Manza interiors to the premium level.

Packed with 1386 cc petrol engine, Manza offers max power of 90 PS at 6000 rpm and peak torque of 116 Nm at 4750 Nm. Whereas the 1248 cc Quadrajet CRDI diesel engine belts out top power of 90 PS at 4000 rpm along with generating ultimate torque of 200 Nm at 1750-3000 rpm. Both engines are linked to 5 + 1 manual transmission.

The list of comfort and convenient features of Manza comprise of storage pockets in front and rear door, storage tray under front occupant's seat, tachometer with critical rev indicator, stylish 15 inches wheels with tubeless tyres and full wheel cap, electricity controlled outer rear view mirrors, power steering with tilt adjustment, power windows, lumbar support for additional comfort, glove box, card holder, pen holder, bottle holder, 2 DIN AM/FM/MP3/CD/USB supported music system and many others.

Safety has also been given equal importance with dual front airbags, engine immobilzer, fog lamps, Anti lock Braking System (ABS), child lock, central locking, remote keyless entry, pretensioner, etc acting as protective gadgets.
