Rajasthan has immense tourism opportunities and it covers all the tourist destinations offers various tour packages with lots of variation. It attracts millions of visitors local as well as international. It is also widely known for historical forts. Some of these are as follows:

Amber Fort: - It is one of the finest hilltop forts of Rajasthan and it was built by Raja Man Singh who considered the original inhabitants of the region in 15th century. It is also reputed as Amer fort to locals and it epitomizes the glorious heritage of Rajasthan and located just over 10 km away from Jaipur. It reflects unique fusion of fine amalgamation Indo-Islamic style and carved out of white marble and red sandstone. The popular attractions of Amber forts are Diwani-I-Aam, Kali Temple, Sheesh Mahal and Shila Mata Temple with silver doors, which have a glorious history and Sukh Niwas, Ganesha idol, as well as beautiful lake in the foreground of the fort, sound and light shows. It has huge and fortified walls. A visit to the fort will surely take you back in time to the golden days of raja-maharajas.


Chittorgarh Fort: This spectacular fort is counted one of the grandest and largest fort of India as well as the most enchanting cities of Rajasthan. This marvelous piece of architecture is situated on a hill at a height of 178 meters in the Bhilwara a city in Mewar region of Rajasthan. It is a symbol undying legends and tales of Rajputs. It rises elegantly from the banks of the Berach River welcoming tourists. It is divided into temples, gates, number of palaces, and significant high towers. The majestic Chittorgarh fort stands five hundred feet high and the area covered by the fort is 7 hundreds acres, and was the capital of the Mewar which was previously ruled by the Guhilot, later by Suryavanshi and Sisodias the family of Chattri Rajputs. It reflects the glorious history of Rajputs, bravery and romance.


Golden Fort: It is one of the finest and oldest existing forts in the world and still has a 80 percent of people of Jaisalmer residing within the premises, is a perfect example of Indian craftsmanship and military magnificence. The wall of this fort is golden that why it is called as 'Golden Fort'. It is also recognized as Jaisalmer Fort or the Sonar Quila draws its name from its founder, Rawal Jaisal built the fort in 1156 AD on the top of Trikuta Hill amidst the popular Thar Desert in Incredible India. Earlier the entire population lived inside the fort but with passage of time and increase in population, it became increasingly difficult to do so. So, quiet a number of them began to settle in the foothill of Trikuta. Today, Jaisalmer Fort is probably the only one that displays how life is within the fort premises. Other tourist attractions are Jain Temples, massive gateways, Raj Mahal, Laxminath Temple, Havelis, Gadsisar Sagar Lake and Museum.
