If you have acne, you need to change your pillow case every night and be very careful with your hygiene so you can keep the acne bacteria from spreading.

Protect your skin from the elements by always wearing clothes appropriate for current weather conditions. You should not go outside without sun screen, shades and a hat during the summer. In the winter, use more moisturizer than usual, and make sure you wear some good gloves, a hat and a scarf when you go outside. Do not forget to apply sun screen; UV rays will be reflected on the snow.

Tip: Keep conditioner in your hair for a minimum of 10 minutes. Once you have washed your hair, take out the rest of the water by wringing it out.

Alcohol, tobacco and coffee are not good for you. If you are used to smoking or always drink alcoholic or caffeinated beverages, it is time to get rid of these bad habits. Your complexion will look at lot better once you give up on your bad habits and adopt a healthy diet as well as a more active lifestyle. You should meet with your doctor if you need help with quitting smoking or drinking, or find a support group if you have a hard time staying motivated.
