Luggage Locks For Travel

Some may wonder why you would ever bother with luggage locks, especially since most suitcases are made of materials that a knife could cut through. In reality, however, the chances of this happening are pretty close to zero, unless you are traveling in a hostile area–in which case, your luggage is probably your last concern.
There are several types of luggage locks available and most are affordable. Unless you are purchasing a luggage lock made of gold, you are likely to pay ten bucks or less for this added security measure. Eagle Creek Travel Locks are one of the better types of luggage locks available. These locks cost less than ten bucks and come with two pairs of keys.
The Eagle Creek SearchAlert Lock is one of the latest developments that include an indicator when the lock is open. This lock is a bit fancier than the Eagle Creek Travel Lock, but is worth the extra few bucks.
The PacSafe ProSafe 700 Travel locks are another of the latest developments; this lock is a 3-dial combo lock and could be opened by TSA agents. It's a bit more pricy than the Eagle Creek Travel, but it, too, is worth the few extra bucks.
The Eagle Creek Travel Safe locks are another post-9/11 lock, which have a 3-dial combo lock can be opened by TSA agents. Thus, the luggage lock costs less than ten bucks and is similar to the Eagle Creek SearchAlert locks.
The Eagle Creek 3-Dial Security Locks are combination locks for luggage. These locks are affordable and will offer greater protection for your luggage, but if you have difficulty remembering things, you should probably stick to a lock with a key.
Other luggage locks include the Eagle Creek Super locks, which have sturdy 3-dial combos; and the PacSafe ProSafe 700 Travel Locks, which are appealing, and have a three-dial combination as well.
If you plan to purchase a luggage lock in the near future, you should use the Internet to compare the locks described above with others in price and in quality. This will help you to find a lock that is TSA-compatible, easy-to-use, and inexpensive.
