Practicing Witchcraft With Wicca Books

For one to become a Wicca, certain rituals and spells must be practiced especially the most basic ones using Wiccan tools. There are many Wicca stuff needed to be a practicing Wiccan. Before starting anything, mustn’t one comprehend first things about Wicca? If it is about faith system and way of life, faith must grow from knowing. Reading Wicca books can be the best first step towards a new Wicca life.
You must have heard of the Book of Shadows or grimoire as an important Wicca symbol. It contains a collection of hand-written Wiccan rites and practices. These are apparently real and each is written based on the life and experiences of a Wiccan so it is like a diary of a Wiccan. It is more like a chronicle which is kept and passed on to next generations like an heirloom. Recently, though, reproductions of these grimoires are being sold to serve as guide for beginners and for practicing witches who want to know more.
Aside from the Book of Shadows, a Wicca can have a grand time picking and reading a wide range of Wicca books on history, magic, modern practices, traditional spells and rituals. These are some of the most suggested ones.
1. Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham is a basic book that must be read by solo practitioners. This book guides individual Wiccans through the tools and their uses, ethics, and concepts.
2. Living Wicca: A Further Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham is a book that successfully attempts to stretch the first book.
3. Solitary Witch: The Ultimate Book of Shadows for the New Generation by Silver Ravenwolf aims mostly about teen Wiccans. This is something useful for beginners and teens starting to be a Wiccan.
4. Drawing Down the Moon by Margot Adler Margot was a pioneering book ever published to make a detailed version of the early stages of Paganism in the States. It is packed with information, educational and very revealing.
5. Complete Book of Witchcraft by Raymond Buckland has a work-book like format which help Wiccans specifically the learners to practice at their own rate.
