• One large egg
• One teaspoon white vinegar
• Half a teaspoon of vanilla extract

Filling Ingredients:
• One teaspoon unflavored gelatin
• One and a half tablespoons cold water
• Two and a half ounces white chocolate, finely chopped
• Three-fourths cup heavy cream
Glaze Ingredients:
• Six ounces finely chopped bittersweet chocolate
• Two and a half cups of heavy cream
• Two tablespoons light corn syrup
• Two ounces white chocolate, for decoration, finely chopped
• One dozen large, well-shaped strawberries
Procedure:
1. Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit. Spray four nonstick spring form pans (4 to 4 1/2-inches).
2. In one bowl, mix together all dry ingredients. In another, whisk sour cream, oil, egg, vinegar, and vanilla.
3. Stir in flour mixture only until combined. Spread into pans and bake for 28 to 30 minutes.
4. Let cool in pans for five minutes on wire rack then invert cakes directly onto wire rack. Remove sides and bottoms of pans and cool completely.
5. Prepare the filling by sprinkling gelatin into a saucepan with one and a half tablespoons cold water. Gently heat over low fire till dissolved.
6. Add white chocolate; stir over low heat until melted. Remove from fire and stir into cream in a third bowl.
7. Chill for 25 minutes then beat till stiff peaks form. Put filling into a pastry bag fitted with a half-inch plain tip.
8. Assemble the cake. Slice cakes to form layers, spread filling using the pastry bag. Stack layers on top of one another in a large tray.
9. Prepare frosting by putting bittersweet chocolate in a small bowl. In a microwave, combine and let boil cream and corn syrup. Pour over chocolate. Let stand for two to three minutes then whisk until smooth.
