Thierry Mugler dabbles in dancing, photography, and fashion. Born French, he started as a window dresses in 1970 in a small tailoring shop in France. His first ever label was launched in 1974 while is men’s fashion line was born in 1978. Mugler’s designs became very popular for their exaggerated angular shapes. They boasted wide shoulders and pegged waistlines. His designs were welcomed whole-heartedly by the public triggering the launch of the first Thierry Mugler couture in 1992. In fact, the singer was tapped by Formichetti to create an exclusive soundtrack for one of the brand’s men’s wear shows.
