In the natural products industry, the Natural Products Association stands as one of the largest and oldest advocates. With about 1,900 membership, the NPA accounts for more than 10,000 retailers, distributors, wholesalers and manufacturers around the world. They influence everything from beauty products to dietary supplements to organic and health foods. And it is their aim to represent the industry and make healthy, beneficial products more accessible to the public, to uplift the standard of living among consumers worldwide.
Basically, the Natural Products Association ensures that all the natural products that make up your personal and home inventory are free from unexpected or harmful ingredients. They provide certifications for those that are indeed made from 95% natural components and are effective at delivering marketed effects. They also establish safety and quality standards for manufacturing natural goods. And ensure that every product is distributed under the required conditions.
In addition to what was mentioned above, the Natural Products Association also makes it their responsibility to educate business, public and private institutions as well as consumers about the products under their supervision. They conduct regular seminars regarding China Testing, TruLabel, GMP certifications and Natural Seals. And they also disseminate reading materials via electronic mail or print and have an updated website ready for easy reference.
It is amazing to note that it has been 75 years since this organization was first established. Back in 1936, the health food industry was just emerging and they had about 150 people on board. But it had such a strong influence on the economy, so much so that after two years of being active, the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act was passed by Congress, giving way for NPA to implement various regulations that shaped the natural products market of America and the world.
Previously known as the National Health Foods Association, the National Products Association is now a landmark and a trustworthy player in the health products industry. You can count on it to only endorse those vitamins, cosmetics, and rations that improve people?s lives and pass their strict and meticulous requirements.
