La Famiglia
An enterprise of the famous Sena family, this restaurant is located in the Old City. It has one of the city’s most opulent dining rooms where authentic Italian dishes are served every night. With its 450 different wine options and majestic surroundings, this is a great place for special occasions.

Dolce
Coolest of all Philadelphia restaurants serving Italian; it doesn’t have the formal air of the other joints. You get traditional Italian food and service with a modern, dim lit ambience. You get some wonderful dishes that contain best Italian ingredients. Created by Chef Alfonso Valentino, these delicacies will leave you wanting more.

Sarcone’s
Since it opened up in 1997, it has made waves in the world of foodies. It is not as pricey as other Italian restaurants and has probably the freshest best bread you will ever eat. It was voted ‘Best of Philly’ in 2008. This is the place to go when you are looking for a simple sandwich that tastes better than most gourmet dishes.
