One of the most popular functions of feng shui is providing cures to correct flaws in the way houses are built and the energy that flows there. Set in soil or stones it represents earth; arranged with coins, it symbolizes money and belongs to the metal element while if arranged with a red ribbon it belongs to the fire element.

With their flowing water, they can increase money and personal well-being but these should include a small pool so that money will not flow away too quickly.
