This explains why all those diet fads that you hear about simply do not work, because as soon as you get off of them you will gain the fluid weight back and probably be right back where you started from.

To get started increasing metabolism, you want to start by making a serious change to the foods and beverages you are consuming.

You should be eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, and drinking enough water, at least six to eight glasses every day. Keeping yourself hydrated is crucial if you want to increase your metabolism.
